hai everybody,my name is yong li,a malaysia cyclist,i start cycling when i was 15years,from ride in my home area,until imeet a group of cyclist,they ask me to ride a local race,so from there,i begin to fall in love with cycling...i start to ride more,and do some local race,and start to getting result,after that,i decide to have a dream to be a profesional rider,as i go to school for nothing..sleep in the class..haha,so i quit school,focus at my dream to be a pro rider,everyday my daily routine is ride bike,eat,rest,,,seen boring,but i enjoy my time on the bike,as its not like other sport,only play in same stadium,venue,but cycling can travel to many place..see diffrent view&everything..so i never feel boring with it..cycling can consider as expensive sport,the bike&equipment for serious racing is expensive,luckily i meet lee,he is a bike businessman,he see i have talent,so he help me a lot..bring me to race...gave everything i need to train and race,without his help,i really can't afford to buy even a cycling jersey... after getting good result for malaysia local race, year2005,i got a offer to ride with a u-23 team of spain pro tour team liberty seguros,its my dream to ride at euro since 1st day i ride bike..so since then,,i never look back...with the help of my uncle,dato naim&lee,they raise money for me go spain...at spain,i learn a lot thing,i just realise what i done in msia is nothing..luckily at spain,i meet a lot kind person,my team staff,member&everybody,they keep support me to be a good cyclist,i have a lot sweet memory at spain...money can't buy it...after spend 2summer season at spain,2005-2006,year2007,i got a pro contract deal from portugal team,i also have a good time at portugal..but its my 1st year as pro,so it quiet hard for me..its another level compare with amateur race i done at spain,but in my heart,i just keep tell myself never give up...because if i give up,i dont know what i want to do except riding bike..after another adventure at portugal,year2008 i ride with meitan-hompo GDR,a japan pro team,we based at france,in france,is another story...everything diffrent with the race i done before....a cold..bad weather for early season..really suffer....but this is life...no suffer..no improve....so hope this year can learn more thing...to made me improve at future....
